******Reassessments on summative that will be handed back on 1/8-9 need to be completed by Friday February 1st. This includes getting a signed contract, completing all required previous formative work(if not done) as well as any additional work that may be required.  DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO START THIS PROCESS!


Assignments are ordered from most recent to oldest. Assignments are due at your next class meeting unless otherwise indicated.

Tuesday/Wednesday January 22nd/23rd: Practice problems 5-1G;2-30 even

Tuesday/Wednesday January 15th/16th: Work on Take home study guide that is due the day of your midterm exam. Also, work on reference sheet on colored paper that you were given that can be used when you take the midterm.  The midterm for Period 1 will be Thursday January 17th and for periods 2 and 6 it will be on Friday January the 18th.

Monday January 14th-Work on Take home study guide that is due the day of your midterm exam. Thursday/Friday January 10th/11th;

  1. Work on Midterm Study Guide which is due the day of your final and is worth 20% of your midterm test grade.  
  2. Also, be working on your reference sheet(colored piece of paper handed out Monday 1/7) that you can use with the test. 
  3. If you want to, you can do the multiple choice review packets that have the answers included with them(one handed out prior to break and one handed out in class on 1/10 or 1/11) but these are en't mandatory.  They are just extra practice.  
DON'T WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE!  USE YOUR TIME WISELY!
There will be one more summative prior to the midterm on Monday January 14th.  It will count in Category C3 and cover any material that we have done over the course of the semester(You currently only have one grade in that category so hopefully this will give you a chance to improve it if needed).  The midterm for Period 1 will be Thursday January 17th and for periods 2 and 6 it will be on Friday January the 18th.


Wednesday, January 9th Blizzard Bag for Periods 2 and 6: Do the even problems, 2-28, on the Angle Relationship Worksheet that you received Monday and were supposed to do the odds 1-29 for today.  This will not be checked until our next class meeting, which is Friday.  All problems will need to be done at that point and we will review them in class.

Thursday/Friday 12/20-21-No Homework.  If you want to work on the multiple choice review packet I gave out in class to prepare for the midterm, you can do that, but it's not required.  Have a great vacation and be safe!

Monday 12/10-Practice sheet on congruent triangles(SSS, SAS, ASA, AAS), 1-18.  Also, Hypotenuse Leg(HL) practice problems, 10-14.  There will be a summative on congruent triangles next Thursday 12/20 (Block 1) and Friday 12/21 (Blocks 2 and 4).  It will cover congruent figures, the five "shortcuts" we've discussed, isosceles/equilateral triangles and overlapping triangles.

Wednesday/Thursday 12/5-6: Practice worksheet on ASA and AAS triangle congruence, 1-18.  No School Friday so work is due Monday 12/10.

Monday/Tuesday 12/3-4: Finish 4-2 Practice G 1-12, 14, 16 if you hadn't already.  Also, SSS and SAS triangle congruence practice worksheet, 1-18

Thursday/Friday 11/29-30; 4-2 G(Congruent triangles using SSS and SAS) worksheet; 1-12, 14, 16.  Friday is the deadline for reassessment on summative handed back on 11/2 and 11/3 depending on your class if you had seen me to get a contract and formative work to be completed.

Tuesday/Wednesday 11/27-28; 4-1 G(Congruent Figures) Practice worksheet; 1, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13,114, 15, 16.  If you had approached me about doing reassessment for the last exam, and were given the problems to be done for review, the deadline to do the reassessment is this Friday 11/30.  

Monday November 26th- Block 1 will be having the summative tomorrow in class that was postponed from the snow day prior to break.  Blocks 2 and 6 have no homework.

Monday/Tuesday 11/19-20-No homework.  Have a Happy Thanksgiving and a good break!

Tuesday/Wednesday 11/14-15-Please do the following problems on the specified worksheets in preparation for a summative on Monday/Tuesday 11/19-20 on Triangle Angle Sum Therem, Exterior Angle Theorem, and Parallel and Perpendicular Lines.  Other than 3-8, these are the same papers that we went over in class that were assigned last week for homework.  Practice worksheet 3-7G; 2, 4, 10 ,12.  Practice worksheet 3-8G; 1, 3, 7, 9, 14, 15, 17, 18.  Practice problem worksheet on triangle angle sum theorem and exterior angle theorem; 2, 6, 10, 14

Thursday/Friday 11/8-9;Triangle Angle Sum Theorem Review Problems, 1-15 odd.  Also, if you didn't finish 3-7G for the last class, 1-15odd, 19 and 22, please finish that as well.  Have a good long weekend!  There will be a summative on Monday/Tuesday 11/19-20 on Triangle Angle Sum Therem, Exterior Angle Theorem, and Parallel and Perpendicular Lines.

Thursday/Friday 11/1-2-  Finish your "Scavenger Hunt" Project which is due Friday November 2nd by the end of the day.  Also, the deadline for reassessment on the summatives from 3 weeks ago is Friday November 2nd.  Anyone who has previously seen me and signed a contract needs to complete this by then end of the day on Friday November 2nd.  If you have not seen me, then at this point then you are keeping the grade you earned.

Monday 10/15-Color in Parallel Line/Transversal Picture with Angle relationships.  There will be a summative on Thursday/Friday on Sections 3.1-3.2 in the text on Parallel Lines, Skew Lines, Parallel Planes etc.  Please review these sections to prepare.

Thursday/Friday 10/11-12: No assigned written homework.  Go back and review the first two sections of Chapter 3 on Angle Relationships with a Transversal and make sure you understand it.

Tuesday/Wednesday 10/9-10: Angle worksheet, 1-10.  "Bix Babble" puzzle  11.5, all. Regarding the summations we went over in class today.  Remember that you have until October 31st to reassess.  This includes completing all required formative work prior to taking the reassessment.  After that, the ability to reassess for these tests is done.

Wednesday/Thursday 10/3-4: Finish 3.1 Practice G: 1-12, 14, 16-23 if you hadn't done it already(go back to make sure it still seems right if you did do it).  Also do 3.1 Practice G: 1-9, 11, 13, 15, 16.  HAVE A GREAT LONG WEEKEND!

Monday/Tuesday 10/1-2: 3.1 Practice G: 1-12, 14, 16-23

Thursday/Friday 9/27-28: Distance and midpoint in the coordinate plane practice problems, 1-14.

Tuesday/Wednesday 9/11-12; Complete independent work packet on Section 1.4, Measuring Angles.  All of the answers for the practice problems are within the packet, so you should be able to check your answers as you go.  We will quickly review this on Thursday/Friday in class.

Monday 9/10- Do problems 12 and 13 from back of 1-3 notes. Also, Standardized Test Prep Sheets 1-2 and 1-3.  There will be a formative quiz Tuesday/Wednesday on the material covered so far in 1-2 to 1-3, not including midpoints of segments.  Also, still waiting on signed prospectuses if you haven't brought it back yet.
Thursday/Friday 9/6-7:Do practice problems in back of 1-2 notes, 1-6 and 15-18.  Also, the practice problems in the back of the 1-3 notes, 1-11.  Also, get your prospectus signed if you haven't already.  If I don't have it on Monday you have a detention that afternoon. And cover your book if it's not please.

Tuesday/Wednesday 9/4-5:1-2 Practice G; 1-15 all, 17, 21-26 all, 30, 32. Also, get your prospectus signed if you haven't already.  And cover your book if it's not please.
